High School Band
Year-long class open to 9-12 grade students, previous experience is expected but not required. Beginning skills are not addressed in class, but after school help is always available. Performances are graded and required, and include but are not limited to: select football and basketball games, evening concerts, parades, pep assemblies, and elementary performances.

7/8th Grade Band
Year-long class open to 7th and 8th grade students, previous experience is encouraged as this is a 2nd and 3rd year skills group. Beginning skills are not addressed in class, but after school help is always available. Secondary instruments audition in January. Performances are graded and required, and include but are not limited to: evening concerts, one football game, parades, and elementary performances.

6th Grade Band
Year-long class open to 6th grade students who wish to learn how to play an instrument. Instruments taught: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and tuba. After school help is always available. Secondary instruments become available starting in 7th grade. Performances are graded and required; three evening concerts throughout the year.

Choir

Beginning skills are taught and addressed, veteran/experienced students are expected to develop their music reading skills, and are encouraged to participate in Solo and Ensemble Festival. Each class meets twice a week for 30 minutes and addresses all elements of music: reading, listening, creating, writing, history, and world elements. Each grade will participate in one performance per year, as determined by a two-year rotation. 5th grade students will also perform at the 5th grade Farewell at the end of the year.
